Yes, I've have to agree with everyone here that Dan did indeed get carried away with his actions

they were both malicious and violent and it was not necessary giving the circumstances.

When witnesses go door to door in field service most wouldn't perceive that a No Trespassing sign on someone's house

would pertain to them or No Proselytizing, I doubt if most witnesses know what that means, so you have to give them a benefit of doubt

A strong verbal castigation put upon the callers, with a put me on your do not call list, was all that was needed there

If by accident that it should happen again I hope Dan approaches the situation a little differently and humanely.

Sorry Dan but you you dropped the ball on this one

i so loved the post of the kitten the other day.

i checked-out this week and drank three bottles of gin, even though i stopped in toto four months ago, my wife is out of town.

please do not post anything about counseling here as i have tried that and am on lots of meds.

Hey guy don't go to the alcohol self destruction routine it's not at worth it and may indeed worsen your personal problem

Be a beacon of light so that your wife can be attracted and drawn toward you. ( show her that you've found something new and better than religion )

Having a strong healthy and positive personality will only do good for you and your marriage

Be your own role model for your wife and yourself and this doesn't take any assistance from a doe-brained religion to accomplish.....trust me.

If your down in the dumps and feeling low, go out for a walk and get some fresh air, it will make you feel better and make you think better......try it !

i was kind of skeptical about registering or even posting anything on this site but after a long struggle of going back and forth and after talking to a friend telling me that it would be good for me i decide to do it.

i grew up in a jehovah witness house hold.

it all was great a had a wonderful childhood but everything went down hill when i started to have my own opinion on things.

how often did we hear in the meetings, conventions,etc, the saying - do not put your trust in men but put your trust in god.anyone putting their trust in men are foolish but anyone putting their trust in god is wise.not once did anyone point out of course that in the watchtower its impossible to put your trust in god because in order to put your trust in god you have to first put your trust in the infallible, unquestionable governing body.i think that when we were told trust in jehovah, what they really meant was trust in the watchtower org and those untouchable 12 men at the top who interprets everthing.. of course if anyone had ever pointed that out we would have got that very spooky air of silence and then totally ignored like we wasnt there.

i try to share my love with everyone who will respond to it, even my dog deserves my affection!

i also love those who cannot respond, the starving and unfortunate and my love moves me to offer some small assistance.

this is the love that moves me to try and improve life now instead of waiting for another life to come.. i have become aware that truly knowing myself and understanding my fellowman is a journey i may never complete but that is the way i will find peace and happiness.

i think you have to wonder if the watchtower society has degenerated to the point where they don't.

there is allot at stake as this is their livelihood and privileged stature in the organization, so don't be too surprised that they are going to hang around for awhile yet.

I personally farted out their mindset ideologies 30 years ago and I've never felt better.

Watchtowers always gave me indigestion, anyways !

exiting the watchtower

hi im new to this forum and am currently trying to exite the watchtower.for the past 12 months or more i have stopped going on the ministry.in august last year i stopped going to the meetings but depression kicked in and other symptoms and i returned to the meetings in april.i stopped going to the meetings again in july and did more research to see if this is a cult.but im having all sorts of symptoms.confusion of whats right and wrong, panic attacks when i go out, one minute i hate the watchtower the next i wonder whether this is the truth and wonder if ive been mislead by satan.i dont know who to trust and where to go from here.and none of my family was ever in the watchtower so i think they know somethings going on but they can,t understand what im going through.ive been in the watchtower since 1999 off and on, i finally got baptized in 2005 after what i thought was carefull examination of the truth.and whats worse is the elder i studied with when i came into the " truth" lives right next door to me with his wife, which plays all sorts of guilt trips on me and paranoia.
